It seems everyone has a different experience. And I suppose that depends on how, and how much you use. I simply put some on my fingertips and rub it on my scalp. I find I no longer have to clean my hairbrush and I don’t know if that’s because hair is not falling out, but I know it’s not breaking anymore. It also gives the impression that my hair is thicker better than any product that claims to do that. No, the order is not a perfumey one, but it’s not that horrible, and it does not last after putting it on.
