I’ve been using black seed oil for it’s immune properties for awhile. This is the first time I’ve used the Sports Research brand of this particular supplement. I’ve used many other supplements from Sports Research and have been happy with all of them. This one is no different. There’s no taste and the capsules are easy to swallow. The serving size is 2 so, this is a 30 day supply.

A coworker swears by black seed oil to prevent any array of illnesses. Since she does seem to be healthy, I thought I’d give it a try. This capsule is easy to swallow and didn’t upset my stomach or cause any other ill after effects. The real test will be this fall when cold and flu season begins, but it is supposed to take a couple of months to take hold in your system any way. If any noticable changes come my way, I will update my review.

This is one of my top supplements brand. The transparency and quality of ingredients really does set them apart. But I would suggest you try for yourself. First and foremost I recommend proper diet and exercise with use of any supplements.
– Pills are small, no problem getting down. Don’t taste terrible or anything
– Black Cumin Seed Oil is known for it’s antioxidant properties and an array of ailments
– 30 day supply, priced a little above average, but worth the transparency and quality
Overall : I will continue to support this brand, and I would recommend this seed oil for a multitude of benefits. If you want to do your own research on the benefits of this oil, I would strongly suggest giving a quick internet search so you can see the benefits utilized for centuries and backed by some studies.

Black seed oil is great for supporting my immune system, especially my lungs. When I am not sick, I take a capsule daily or every other day. When I know I’ve been exposed to something that could cause problems, I take two. These are made with just four wholesome, natural ingredients: black seed oil, kosher gelatin, glycerin and water. Due to the gelatin, it’s not vegan, but it doesn’t contain harmful chemicals or additive. These capsules are small enough that they are easy to swallow.
At about $20 for the 60-count bottle, these are less than 35 cents a capsule. This is more than other brands I’ve tried, but not bad. Taking one a day, they’ll last about two months. If following the recommended dosage of two a day, they’ll last for one. Considering that they may prevent a doctor visit for bronchitis, pneumonia or something similar, I think that’s a pretty good deal.

I have tried many different brands of Blackseed oil. I normally use just the liquid or the actual seeds, so these capsules were new for me. The sports research brand is known to be high-quality, and I feel like these were on par with their other products. I will say for some reason that these capsules did end up messing with my stomach a little bit and would give me stomach aches. I would also burp up the Blackseed oil a little bit but that’s pretty typical when I take it. The nice part of having a capsule was that you don’t have to deal with the taste of black seed oil, which tends to be very strong and can almost taste like motor oil. For the amount of capsules you get, these are a great value. I still tend to prefer the actual black seeds that I can grind up or the liquid.

I found these softgel capsules easy to swallow and free from any flavor. (Good, because on its own, black cumin seed oil is pretty potent!).
The package says to take them with food, but I took them in the morning and didn’t eat anything until lunch, and that seemed to be okay with my stomach.
Most clinical studies I looked at show results after ~8 weeks of taking this supplement. However, one bottle only lasts 30 days. So I’m still hoping to see a hint of some results before deciding whether to buy again.
