I know it’s coffee oil, so it’s expected to smell like coffee. Ilove the smell of coffee. However it has a bit of an old burnt black coffee scent. It stays on your skin a good while. It’s good for my elbows and feet or an area that is particularly dry or needs some extra moisturization. Due to the scent, I can not deal with it on my face or head. Overall, I like the brand and products they offer. But I think the coffee one isn’t really for me.

I absolutely love this oil both day and night protection. I’m 45 and I regularly use retinol, Glycolic Acid, and Vitamin C in my skincare regimen. As a result, keeping my skin regularly moisturized is a must to avoid discomfort and flakes. This has been a great addition to my day and night regimen and I’m very satisfied.
This is slightly oily upon application, but it sinks in pretty quick leaving soft, supple skin without the sticky residue. Mind you, I’m fine with slugging with Aquafor at night regularly. I’ve not had to do that with this PURA D’OR Organic Coffee Bean Oil and I’m loving it. Plus, the scent if freshly ground coffee is heavenly!
I’ve been adding a drop if this to my daily moisturizer and that’s really all you need to feel the benefits of this. At night, I add a drop of this with a couple of drops of Marula Oil to my final stage of face care and I’m good for bed with some supple skin in the morning.
This is quality stuff too: It’s cold-pressed and unrefined, premium grade face oil. The price is outstanding. I totally recommend this for anyone of a mature age and anyone that might be on skin drying prescriptive medication.

I really love the smell (and taste) of a good coffee, and this oil does have a good, strong scent which I like a lot. The bottle and pump are of high quality, the dispenser squirts out the perfect controlled amount each time with no dribbling. For my skin type this does leave quite an oily residue, which is surprising since I’m so dry that I normally soak up most types of moisturizers like a sponge, but this requires a lot more rubbing in than normal. I don’t mind it too much as I enjoy the fragrance but do find I have to wash my hands afterwards. I did try it in my hair but didn’t like the oily feeling so I rinsed most of it out before shampooing, but hopefully I’m still getting some of the benefit of the oil. It’s a shame you’re not supposed to ingest it as I’ll bet it tastes like a good strong cuppa. I also like the slight tint it leaves behind on my pasty white skin, it gives a nice healthy looking glow, like I finally got some sun.
