I really like this fragrance., but don’t expect it to be a very sweet perfume. The first note that I get is a strong rubbey type smell, then woody smokey incense with earthy leathery notes followed by the vanilla. The vanilla shines through more half an hour later after the dry down. The fragrance can be worn by a man or a woman, although personally I would say it’s much more masculine, especially when first sprayed. The smokey woody notes are very strong/heavy. I much prefer the smell at least half an hour after the dry down. If you love the strong smell of incense and smokey woods, you will probaly like this perfume. I would buy this perfume again.

This was a blind buy. I’m 32. Big fan of gourmand or spicy fragrances(my faves- Dior addict, YSL black opium, Billie eilish, La vie est belle). I was really hoping this would be heavier on the vanilla than it is. I actually don’t smell any vanilla or any sweetness at all. At first, the smell is masculine. The dry down becomes more powdery.
Think YSL Opium (NOT black opium) or Chanel No5.
Smells like something my grandma would have worn.
Don’t listen to any reviews that say it’s sweet or smells like vanilla.
It smells like patchouli and baby powder.

i was fairly new to scents when i came across this one while browsing through amazon and from reading the comments and reviews i was like, sure lets give it a go and try it out. fast forward to now and i’ve purchased this several times over and will continue on in the future too! i have tried other scents on amazon and am still experimenting with finding new scents to add to my collection but so far this one has been my absolute top of the list and none have been able to best it, for me at least. honestly i was very surprised at how perfect it suited what i was looking for, something thats a nice comforting deep scent, rich but not suffocatingly so, long lasting, not headache inducing. something thats somehow warm and comforting but also gives off a sort of mature and badass sort of vibe, and honestly pretty gender neutral, not totally feminine coded but also not completely masculine coded either, which was quite important to me personally. i even spray some on key parts of my winter coats and other outer wear so that the scent lingers and its always nice to smell hints of it, it lifts my mood honestly lol. my coworkers and friends have given me so many compliments on it too! im not the greatest with words and more specific descriptions of the flavors and tones but the way that the other reviews describe the scent here is pretty accurate! im very particular with my sense of smell and while other scents sometimes have some slight note of something that im not crazy abt, either in the initial spray or the lingering scent after, either on skin or clothing, this franck olivier oud vanille is quite honestly absolutely divine through and through., would highly recommend this and have nothing but praise!

So this was my first time trying this fragrance…a little goes a very long way! I sprayed some on myself before work one day and it stayed in my clothes even after washing them a couple times…it’s not typically a scent that I’d wear but I give it 5 starts because the packaging was neat the bottle arrived with no damages and “store of the world” the merchant who sells this product was extremely nice and helpful Chris was simply amazing and kind and the customer service made me want to purchase with them again.

I liveeeeee by this fragrance. This is 1 of my top signature scents. It doesn’t smell like your regular vanilla scent. It smells like vanilla, with some oud and leather. The dry down it smells like Smokey vanilla. It does smell masculine but ladies trust me get it. It last on me hourssss and I still smell it the next day. I get so many compliments when people hug me and when I walk in a room. (I lie about what it is because I don’t want to many people copying lol)

Das ist das mit Abstand das beste Parfüm was ich riechen durfte. Die Preisleistung ist mega. Es ist extrem langanhaltend. Also wirklich selbst nach mehreren Tagen kann man das Parfüm auf der Kleidung immernoch riechen! Er reicht auch ein Spritzer oder 2 vollkommen für den Alltag aus. Trotzdem ist es schwierig ihn zu veschreiben. Es richtig holzartig gemischt mit vanille, ein richtiger angenehmer arabischer Duft. Sowohl als Mann als auch als Frau.

This is a hidden gem of a scent, if you want to smell like dior oud ispahan at £200 this is a scent for you, oud touch is also very similar and even closer to dior, they both also have great longevity.

This perfume is STRONG!!!! If you aren’t sure if you like Oud , do NOT blind buy!!! I like Oud but I had hoped this had a strong Vanilla scent to it and the Vanilla is almost undetectable. You only need about 1-2 sprays of this on your entire body to last all day. I layer this with my vanilla perfumes and I don’t have to put anymore on the rest of the day. Overall not bad but not a safe blind buy!
