Very nice smell. Not a overbearing fragrance but a nice lingering warm spicy perfume . I use them with the coal and lid bukhoor burner ( the one that has a perforated sieve like lid to place on the burning coal and bukhoor on top) .

This is the best of bakhoor. Seriously. I’ve tried them ALL. I seriously can’t believe the price is so low because the quality is so great! I burn this bakhoor on an electric burner in my master bedroom and my husband says he can smell it outside of the front door to our home when he gets off of work!!! And it’s the sweetest aroma. Heavenly even. All of their fragrances are perfect. Only thing that comes close is homemade bakhoor and it’s aroma is shy of the greatness of this.

First, this is half of a small bottle. Second if you burn it on the charcoal it doesn’t smell as good.
I usually buy cheap incense to use directly on the charcoal and higher quality for my incense burner that warms with the tea candles. I purchased this to burn on the charcoal and it didn’t stink but it wasn’t a good smell.
I will go back to buying locally. This wasn’t a waste of money but it’s not worth the price for this product.

Just lovely- I am guilty of smoking a room out, but the scent is so potent and produces such volume its great! Picture it- a harem, filled with luscious smoke and smells…you see it right- okay if not a harem then maybe one of those church services where they wave a lot of incense around- either way its alotta smoke.
This was a great buy and I will be trying other aromas next!

I absolutely love bakhoor, but if your looking for Sudanese or Arabic bakhoor please save your money, I have been looking for good quality bakhoor online, I found this product and decided to give it a try! Here’s a break down of why I give a 2 star review.
Shipment/Delivery – Very reasonable timing, I used amazon prime, I placed the order on a Friday and received it the following Tuesday.
Packaging – Unique, very feminine colorful and beautiful. Probably the best part of the whole order. When you open the box you’ll find a very small jar with black woodchips that look burned.
Pricing – A bit overpriced, for $15.99 you get about less than 8 oz. Based on the quantity I felt it’s worth $5- $7. I’ve purchashed incenses and wood chips like palo santo from local stores with similar quantity for $3 – $5. You’ll want to save your money.
Scent – Poor quality, the scent is very weak and lacks the sweet and sandalwoodish aroma that most arabic or sudanse bakhoors have, it has a very stale scent, doesn’t give off a fresh aroma or a perfumey-fragranty smell, I gave it a couple tries and still no authentic bakhoor scent emerging from my burner. While I think the merchant has good intent to please it’s customers, I think I was mailed an older batch of the bakhoor, I can tell it wasn’t fresh.
Conclusion – Save your money, your options are to find a good quality bakhoor producer or learn how to make bakhoor at home, it can be a long and meticulous process but you’ll be closer to the quality and fragrance you desire.

Love the smell but they are wood chips covered with whatever it is, so I tried a burner & tealight candles & the fragrance lasts for maybe 2-3 time use. I also tried burning it on charcoal & that was a horrible idea because it smoked like hell & burnt away in a heartbeat.

Great oud. People that are complaining don’t know how to use oud. You don’t put it in the top of a hot charcoal, it will burn and give you a bad smell. This is Muattar means its oud with oils. Original oud is way more expensive. To get the benefits of this oud. Light a charcoal wait a couple of minutes put folded aluminum foil over it then put the oud in the top, let the oud release the oils and the aromas.
