This is one of my favorite hair oils ever. I’d say it’s pretty similar to the Moroccan Oil brand that you can buy out of Sephora (which I also own). This hair oil is nice and thick and really penetrating. It always leaves my hair super soft the next day and works fine on my dyed hair. I have really thick hair and this has always done a great job on my hair without making my scalp oily. I typically only use this after I’ve showered on towel dry hair. I find this oil is too much though on dry hair and can just make your hair look oily. You definitely don’t need that much in my opinion so the bottle lasts a pretty decent amount of time. It’s also a fraction of the cost of the Moroccan Oil brand. It also has an amazing smell that lingers the next day which I absolutely love.

I’ve tried Lanza hair oil among others and it didn’t do a thing for my hair. This is less expensive and has really worked. My hair is still a bit frizzy but it smooths it right down. It has made my hair much softer and the oil is so lightweight that recently when traveling I hadn’t closed the lid all the way and it soaked into my clothes. I figured they were ruined. It actually all came out in the washing machine. Pretty impressive for a drug store brand!

I use a few drops of Ogx rubbed between hands and added to towel dried hair which I then wrap in a turban before styling. 1-2 other styling products over the top poses no problem. It penetrates well and I don’t experience build up. (I use a clarifying shampoo occasionally) Mind though! A little goes a long way- otherwise greasiness. My hair has been extensively professionally bleached and this product softens and helps manageability. My previous bottle lasted me 2+ years with no deterioration of the product when stored in bathroom cupboard . Would recommend

Overall this is a pretty good oil. Smells super good and makes my hair softer for sure. It’s not the best argan oil I have used but if you are looking for a cheap option, this does the trick. It just isn’t as hydrating as other argan oils I have tried. It still good but again just not the best.
I use it after my shower and run it through wet/damp hair on my mids and ends, focusing mostly on my ends. I also use a teeny bit on my dry/split ends at night to keep them hydrated. I recommend using a little bit first and then adding more on as needed. You don’t want to put too much but depending on how your hair is, you might need more than others.
Now the bottle it comes in is meh. You better be careful when pouring some on your hands because it isn’t really a dropper top, it’s more of a stream top. This oil will come out of the bottle so fast if you aren’t prepared and careful. Also, even if you do succeed in getting the desired amount needed, there will be little dribbles and such all over the container now, providing you with an oily slippery messy bottle.
