Girl Wonder –
I love sampler sets because it gives me a chance to try a fragrance for several days before committing to a larger bottle since most alter slightly when they mix with your body chemistry. Unfortunately not all the bottles were full so I am limited on how long I can test each one. This set was simply labeled unisex which wasn’t very descriptive. I noticed their Artisanal, Intense, Oriental and Floral blends actually come with descriptions such as fresh spice, citrus, musky, woody, etc. but this sampler just comes with names and numbers which mean nothing. Overall I would consider them more earthy. I definitely didn’t detect any citrus of floral scents. They weren’t bad but there wasn’t anything that I loved either. The one I liked the most #19 got very earthy when applied. I wound up washing it off because all I got was lingering dirt smell from it. #18 was the only one I did not like at all. It was very musky and reminded me of old cheap cologne. My next favorite was one of the bottles less than half full but that wound up not being a big issue since the scent faded so quickly. Overall it was a pretty disappointing sampler set and nothing in it would be worth purchasing in a larger size.

I have enjoyed sampling the Maison d’Orient Alriyad, Unisex Spray Parfum Travel Size, Featuring Barratt Rouge Mini, 5 Scents, Perfume Sampler Gift Set (Scents No. 16 through 20). These are nice scents, but I personally found some to be more masculine than others. I might not wear the more masculine scents, but they are nice to use around the house.
This set is an excellent way to try several fragrances at once with little cost investment. Then, you can decide which fragrances you want to purchase in larger quantities. For that purpose, this is a nice set to try.

There were two of these scents that I really love, 17- Silver Montale and 20- Sultan, and my daughter loves the 16- Barratt Rouge. This was a very good way to try out new perfumes, and finding 3 out of 5 that we liked so much I would say is well worth it. The samples are generously sizes and come in mini spray bottles that would be good for travel. My only critique is that the scent wears off a little sooner than I like, but the price is nice too and I don’t always find perfumes I like that much. My husband is always wondering what to get me for a gift so I put the full size of the 2 that I want in my Amazon shopping cart to help him.

It’s always great to be able to try a sample of perfume out before purchasing the whole bottle. These sets are great for testing out which ones you like and dislike. I actually liked 2-3 of them. They are unisex, so some do smell more like cologne to me, but I personally like that! Definitely a fun and inexpensive way to try out different scents before purchasing a full bottle!
