HOW TO USE: Dukhni Bakhoor can be burned the traditional way on charcoal. Place a piece of bakhoor on hot charcoal and enjoy as fragrant smoke fills up your room. It will burn for approximately 15min but the aroma will be long lasting. Our signature burners allow for a new way of burning bakhoor with ease. Simply place a piece of bakhoor on the copper plate and light the tealight below. We recommend tealight candles with a 3.5 to 4 hour burn time. The beauty of our burner is that it burns without smoke, steadily building up the flavour of the bakhoor and ensuring its longevity. In an unventilated room, the aroma of the bakhoor will spread to about 400 square feet

This is my first bakhoor purchase (swf over here…) but i did a little digging into the product, how to use it and it’s many mixed reviews and it is ABOUT what i expected.
First I got a candle burner that fits a tea light size candle in a dish qith a ventilated lid aboce it qhich you put the cake (it’s not really a COAL and I don’t want to confuse you). Mine was made of wood but there are different types of incense burners espec for bhakoor so don’t be shy about trying something new.
If you don’t have one of those or you don’t want to buy one: I suggest using a shell or glass/metal ashtray.
DO NOT LEAVE COAL UNATTENDED
I read that the scents were harsh and too pungent but i had also read some suggestions to break off pieces of the cake instead pd lighting it whole all at once. In tje vein of experimenting and not wanting to smoke myself out of my 700sqft apt, I first burned a piece on my burner outside in my covered car port while i cleaned. It was a noticeable scent when I’d walk by and made my patio area smell inviting. When i later burned a new.even smaller piece inside my apt I got the same effect. 1/4cake nicely scents a bathroom with the door open. If you don’t have butane you can carefilly light the cake with a regular lighter but it does burn a bit of fluid. I like 3/5 scents. The 2 I don’t smell very cleaner-y to me but maybe not to others. There is one that smells like cedar I think that is my fave (I think the green and the black are the best but don’t quote me on that). Great intro to bhakoor though. Will try other brands to see how this measures up.

I like this Maamoul scent. It is my first purchase of Dukhni incense. When it warms up, you can immediately tell it is made from quality ingredients. The scent is very clean and pure and strong. All you need is a pinch of the incense round to scent an entire room. I have heated the small section I broke off several times and the scent is still going strong! Very impressed! If you have never used these incense rounds before, I cannot stress strongly enough to NOT use one whole round at once!!! This incense is strong and a whole round might run you and your entire family out of the house. Lol! I broke off just a pinch and burned it and I could smell it in four different rooms of my house.
This scent will not be for everyone. It smells to me like a blend of rose, geranium and some sort of mildly earthy wood. It is very floral. However, unlike some floral scents this one does not irritate my sinuses at all. I am very sensitive to most strong floral scents but this one doesn’t cause me to react at all. But if you want a classic incense aroma like Nag Champa, Oud, etc. skip this one and try one of Dukhni’s other scents. If you love fruity floral type scents like Dragon’s blood you may like this one. If you like Rose type incense you should love this scent.
I highly recommend this brand because it is concentrated, made of clean fresh quality ingredients, and will last you a long time which makes it a good value.

I ordered the mixed box because it is the first time I order bakhoor and I wanted to try which one I liked, of all the one I liked the most was the ya aini, I would have liked to try the ibtisam because of the ingredients I know I would like it but It did not come in the box, the smells are strong so I recommend that you use a pinch, I tried them in the censer that is included and I tried it with charcoal, I liked both ways, but it is not something that everyone likes, I can not compare it with other bakhoor because it is the first time that I buy it and I do not know if there are others with better quality but as an incense I find it good and it gives your house a smell that lasts almost all day after being finished

I purchased the I will call it the original variety sample box a few times and I was pleased with it. I saw this one and figured it has a few different scents and the disk are a little larger so I will try it. The disk are a little larger than the variety box so you may get an extra hour or two out of each disk. All of the scents smell great and you get a good variety. The only draw back for me was that you get I think 20 disk vs the 30 in the original variety pack, and I don’t think the size difference justifies the cost. I think it should be cheaper or have a few more in the box.

I was hoping for a more sweet scent, but this smells more floral, though I’m still happy with the product. It’s very clean and smooth. It really calmed me down. I highly recommend, this product is amazing. You can tell that this is definitely a high quality product that uses real, natural ingredients. Absolutely amazing, I’m burning one of them right now, and I really love the smell. Really, the first thing you notice is the smell of flowers, with maybe a small hint of sweetness and woodiness. I’m glad I bough this.
