I heard this was a dupe for Ambre Blends. I should have paid attention to which Ambre Blends…lol. While it doesn’t smell like Ambre Essence like I hoped, It still smells lovely. It’s soft, subtle, and fresh in a light way. It’s teeny, but for $12, how much can one expect? Four stars bc I haven’t been able to test its longevity.
*UPDATE- I just received my Ambre Blends in the mail and it hasn’t “blossomed” yet…the scent is subtle and I l’ve heard to store it in a warm car for a bit to bring out the smell. (Amber matures with time and will smell stronger.) With that being said, The Persian Garden DOES smell much more similar to Ambre Blends than I first anticipated while in this state.

I’ve used this product for years but bought it from a boutique where I lived and loved the scent. Since I’m no longer living in the area where I used to purchase this item I thought I’d buy from amazon. Fragrance from this item is very weak/mild compared to previous purchases elsewhere. Like it’s been watered down. I’ve had many compliments wearing this fragrance in the past but you can hardly get a scent from this product. Won’t order again ( plus I paid twice as much for this item than I had from previous purchases elsewhere).

*UPDATE* I layered this with some Molecule 02 and, wow! It became a straight-up dupe for a very popular “not a” perfume…
It’s so frustrating that this scent is so lovely and yet so faint. I’m not sure I have the real deal. I’ve heard so many good things about this & the scent is as beautiful as I’ve heard it described but no one told me that I’d barely be able to notice it. I thought maybe I was nose blind from smelling similar fragrances recently but I had someone else check & they said it was barely detectable to them also,
Shame. I’m glad I got just one bottle before going all in like I usually do and getting a couple of bottles right off. I don’t think I would mind how faint this is if the bottle was larger. I have to use so much of it that this won’t last a week. I’m going to try letting the bottle sit in the cabinet and “mature” for a couple of months to see if that helps. That works with sprays but I’m not sure how well it works with a oil like this.
This is not that expensive so I don’t mind that I tried it but $10 is $10. I will go back to Auric Blends Love scent. It’s almost the same price, is a larger size, and is stronger in scent and longevity.

The scent is lovely – clean and light with a balance of both floral and amber notes, when applied to your pulse points. What perfume tok might call a skin scent.
Unfortunately, the scent fades very quickly on me, within a couple of hours generally. I tried applying the oil over a dab of vaseline, which has given other scents a little more longevity, but still couldn’t smell a thing after 5 hours. Oh well, still a very nice, affordable scent.

Although I should have paid attention to the size of this bottle, I was actually surprised as to how little product I actually received. The scent is wonderful, but unfortunately, is too light and fades very quickly. The jojoba oil that it is carried in is also very heavy and I find makes my skin feel oily for the rest of the day after I apply it. A lighter carrier oil would probably be better and maybe a little more product to represent value for money would be a bonus, especially since you have to apply so much to even smell it.

The scent is absolutely amazing, except…. it is SUPER faint. I wish they could make it stronger. Literally no one knows I am wearing it except me. I wish you could put it on and have that definitive scent about you one would expect after spraying themselves with perfume (this is an oil-based roll on).
Also, not sure why, but my skin burns a little when I put it on. I do have sensitive skin though. A bit of a reaction from the oil… so sad because this fragrance is absolutely amazing. 🙁
I will say that it does scent your skin for at least 24 hours even after washing your hands/wrists and showering- it’s just that it’s only for you (and your husband)- literally no one else will be able to smell it on you… that’s okay though. The scent is beautiful enough that I will be purchasing it again.

It comes in roller ball packaging and all I need is one swipe on the wrist then I rub together and then a small swipe on my finger, rubbed together and pressed behind the ear. It’s soft yet noticeable.
