I wasn’t 100% certain I was going to like these, but I’m really pleased I ordered them; they’re well designed, are adaptable to style and need, and look good on.
There’s no information about the textile used to make these sleeves, but to me the feel of them is something between the knit of a heavy denier tights material and the softness and all-direction stretchiness of spandex sports leggings. The textile holds its shape without going baggy and feels smooth and comfortable on the skin.
On first opening these looked small, but they stretch easily without losing their opaqueness; you don’t see skin through them at all.
The top of the sleeve has a wide, double thickness hem so they don’t dig into the arm, but do hold up securely.
There’s a ribbed section at the wrist to keep it from going baggy, and a slim double thickness hem that lays across the knuckles if you’re using the thumb holes, so they’re finished nicely and look smart on the hands.
I ordered these primarily as my daughter has sun sensitive skin due to meds, so covering up to prevent burning and rashes is a must, and they’re perfect for the job; and she likes how they look as they give the impression of wearing a T-shirt under a top layer.
I chose the pack of 6 as it means we can split the pack and each have a set of the three colours. I liked the idea of these for hiking; they’re good to add to a backpack as extra cover against sun or cold, or whatever the Highland weather feels like gifting me; I can leave these scrunched around my wrists over a base layer ready to pull up when the temperatures drop, and they’ll fit under gloves.
At the time of order these were priced at £19.99, but as I write the review they’re offered at a 25% discount of £14.99, and for the price I think they’re brilliant. I will get lots of use from these and would happily buy more when I need them. An easy 5*. Love them.

I like to go for early (sunrise) walks and runs to start the day and even on the warmest of summer days and months, it can be chilly that early in the morning but I also hate to wear a hoodie or full sleeve top as often feels heavy into the run but these sleeves are just perfect. Super comfortable and lightweight, they dont add any weight to my runs but allow me to keep my arms warm which is great especially as I run to the gym for a workout before going to work. They kept their shape after washes as well, quick drying…honestly a brilliant addition to my exercise gear to wear and their use are so practical.

I got the 4 pack of white ones because I wanted them to not absorb any light energy and keep me as cool as possible. Each pair comes individually wrapped in an outer bag and I was a little surprised when I first opened the first pack and was met with what looked like a child sized item, 40cm long and 8/10cm wide. Fortunately they are very stretchy so this didn’t cause an issue once worn. They have a thumb hole at one end but no form of gripper at the bicep end and rely solely on the stretchy material to hold them in place. The material is fairly thin to the point of being able to see my moles through the fabric so these are definitely a summer sun protection arm warmer and probably not suitable in cold weather. On the plus side the thin fabric means they feel cool in use and you will overheat less.
I am a tall female with fairly long but skinny arms for my height and I find that these fit well. Despite no gripper at the top I haven’t found them to slide down. I’m not really a fan of the thumb hole as I find it digs into my hand between my thumb and forefinger especially when holding handlebars and find it’s just as easy to wear them without and still get coverage into my gloves. The one size fits all approach won’t work for everyone though.
Overall these are good quality sun protection sleeves and I find that they stay in place and are comfortable as long as I don’t use the thumb hole. At £14.99 they are good value for money and getting 4 pairs for the money means it should be a long time before needing to buy them again. Recommended.

I got these for everyday use; sunlight exposure is dodgy for me for medical reasons, so I don’t feel entirely safe relying on sunscreen, which tends to wear off pretty quickly, in my experience. Between the way this fabric breathes, the moisture wicking, and the UV protection, these make my life a lot easier and make the sun safer and more tolerable for me.
This design has an extra bit of fabric that covers the back of the hand, which is what made me want to try them. It spares me having to wear gloves in hot weather, and that makes these a lot more useful to me. They go all the way up my arm, which I like, and they stay in place well. Under a loose, sun-protective shirt, these are very comfortable, even in the severe desert heat where I live.
I heartily recommend these if you’re worried about sun exposure. It find these much more convenient than slathering on sunscreen and, in particular, it’s nice not having to wash all that dry sunscreen off and not having to reapply sunscreen at intervals to ensure I have adequate UV protection. These rinse out easily in the sink and they don’t hold sweat; they wick it off your skin and sweat evaporates pretty quickly from this fabric. Simple accessories, for sure, but they do make a big difference in terms of comfort on bright, sunny days.

My use case is probably a bit different than most: I’m an accordionist, and I use these to let my hand slide easily underneath the left-hand strap, so my palm doesn’t get stuck to the instrument when my hand is sweaty.
I look for the thinnest and slipperiest arm sleeves I can find. These are plenty thin to not add unnecessary bulk, absorbent enough to wick sweat off my skin, and while not deliberately slippery like bike shorts are, they are nice smooth fabric. Each sleeve will last me a couple months of daily practice, so this package is a year’s supply for me.
Black looks best and is least distracting to the audience. But lighter colors will be cooler if you’re out in the sun. And if you are doing something like pulling weeds you’ll probably find these have a very short lifespan. They are thin coverings, not the arm equivalent of work gloves or chaps.
