This oil is great for dry winter months and makes your beard extremely soft. I only use a small amount of oil and the only complaint I have is the smell is very strong and takes some getting used to.

Smells like aftershave… Not unpleasant at all. The scent stays pretty much all day. I wouldn’t recommend it for longer beards unless you just like using a lot of fragranced oils. I have a medium beard and a dropper full does the trick with little left behind on my hands. It does leave the beard soft. One thing I noticed though is that it’s pretty much soaked in by about 6 hours leaving my beard feeling a little dry. Maybe using a little more than a dropper wouldn’t be bad and might make it last a little longer. I would recommend this to men with short to medium beards. Longer bearded men may want to find something else that has the same qualities but in a bigger bottle.

Honnêtement, je ne m’attendais à rien de cette huile de Gilette. Heureux hasard, j’avais vidé ma dernière bouteille et j’ai décidé d’en tester une nouvelle. J’ai été agréablement surpris. L’huile hydrate bien, ne reluit pas trop. Mais surtout, c’est le parfum qui est très bien dosé. (Sérieux, y’a rien de pire que de se transformer en bouteille de parfum ambulant.) J’en ai testé une pis une autre huile à barbe et j’ai horreur des huiles qui embaument trop fort, qui nous restent dans le nez toute la journée, qui sentent le patchouli ou le rhum de la baie des tropiques. Celle-là est bien équilibrée et ne tombe pas sur le coeur, ni le notre, ni celui de ceux autour de nous. Bon travail, Gillette !
