I have dreaded combination skin. My forehead and nose are oily while my cheeks and chin are dry. I also have a butterfly rash due to Lupus, and it does NOT appreciate being messed with. But this stuff… I adore it.

I’ve gotten at least eight bottles of it within two years. I use it on my arms as well as my face (I have KP and it’s one of the few things that helps keep it at bay!) and I just love it! It doesn’t float on the skin forever or feel greasy, which is important. I live in the Southern US, so anything like that is non-negotiable in the summer; I’d feel smothered by it.

About six drops after washing my face, waiting ten minutes, blotting off any remaining oil that hasn’t absorbed (that’s the additional trick that ensures zero breakouts), and my face is happy. I don’t even wear foundation often anymore, and if I do it’s because of the butterfly rash, not breakouts.

It does have a scent, but it’s very light and not at all bothersome, to me. It’s spicy, somehow, in the way that some vanilla scents can be spicy. I don’t love a ton of smell, because it can make it hard to use if I’m having issues with a headache or nausea, so I like that this is discreet.

I’ve started to use a drop or two of vitamin E and rosehips oil and four drops of the jojoba oil, and it’s made my complexion even better. I even recommended it to my mother, who has cancer. It’s taken a lot from her, but she’s a grand Southern Lady, and she deserves a good but SIMPLE regimen to keep her skin baby butt soft and allow her a little outer glow to match her kind spirit, despite all she is going through. I’d never steer my angel mother wrong, and this is a recommendation for her.

If I had to go somewhere on short notice and could only take one skincare item, hands down I’d take a bottle, or a GALLON, of this jojoba oil.

The photos attached is one with no foundation or powder or editing hijinks. One has no makeup added at all. I never add photos, but, I love this stuff, and a picture is worth 1,000 words. So, there are 2,000 extra for ya!

Jojoba Oil is SO GOOD for you skin, hair and nails. I LOVE using this stuff. I am a brand partner for Young Living and I make rollers and face serums with Jojoba Oil. Its really amazing, has a slight scent, and is very moisturizing. LOVE LOVE

OVERALL: This is my first time using jojoba oil on its own, but I’ve been using it on my face with favorable results. I will go back to argon oil because my face likes it better, but this brand seems to be of good quality and works as intended. Would recommend with below caveat regarding smell.
LIKES: Moisturizes without breaking me out (acne prone, combo skin); is absorbed by skin well; price point is on point; seems to be authentic; makes my skin velvety soffffft; does not have a scent once applied; glass dropper; will be useful in so many other applications.
DISLIKES: Smell – This is my first pure jojoba experience, so I’m not positive if this is a negative or expected, but in the bottle, the oil has a faint “meaty” smell to me – I have read that this is normal for organic jojoba oil vs refined jojoba oil – the application of it did not adversely affect my skin and worked as I thought it should – the smell is not overwhelming and dissipates as it is applied so it’s not a dealbreaker for me – I only mentioned it because I had to research it; glass dropper only fills up partially, unsure if this is a dosed amount or if the dropper is defective.
