I originally found this in an Indian market and fell In love! I just had to find it again. It smells so good, it is strong at first but then the scent mellows out. I love to pair it with shea butter to give my hair that extra silky feeling. This oil really helped getting my curls back into shape since bleaching it.

SHOE ADDICT 1982 –
Although, the smell of this oil is reminiscent of Blue Magic grease, it’s a wonderful oil for the hair. I’ve been using this oil for my entire three year natural journey, and my hair loves it. I have 3C(the outer most circumference of my head) 4A(the center circumference of my head) 4B(the crown) hair, and I use this in my weekly deep conditioners. I used to apply it in an oil mixture, and found it to be too thick for the different textures I possess. However, when adding it to your deep conditioner, you can completely eliminate the smell. The smell doesn’t bother me at all, seeing as we grew up using hair grease, but I can understand others being affected. I use a combination of various Herbal Essence conditioners, and they work well at masking the scent. My suggestion for those wanting to try this very beneficial oil (strengthens hair at the root, stimulates hair growth, and restores dark pigmentation to gray hair) but not wanting to battle the scent, is to mix this with your floral scented products. You only need a capful of this oil in your mix to do the trick. Hope this helps!!

J’avais déjà acheté l’huile d’amla classique mais je trouvais l’odeur extrêmement forte, pas horrible mais un peu trop forte, comme de l’encens et du parfum mélangés. J’ai lu des avis qui parlaient de celle au jasmin, qui attenuai un peu ce problème. Perso ça n’est pas mon avis, c’est une odeur forte et pas agréable mais au jasmin ! Limite celui là est pire car ça sent vraiment l’aérosol pour les toilettes! Le truc c’est que l’amla c’est le top, d’où mes 4 étoiles, il faut puer pour être belle ! Perso jele fais en bain d’huile la nuit avec un tissu sur mes cheveux histoire d’atténuer l’odeur.

I use henna every 2 weeks so that my greys don’t show. As result my hair is very thick & healthy (age 42 etc) and grows fast but prone to dryness at the ends. To combat this I use hair oils twice a week,massaging the scalp for a few minutes and spreading the oil on the full length. I then tie my hair up & leave the oil on for a few hours . After that I shampoo 2-3 times and condition the ends. My hair soaks up the oil mix which includes this product as well. The result is amazing shine, thickness & increased scalp & hair health. I like to joke that my hair grows like weed. This oil has paraffin and some silicones in it but overall it s been great for my hair especially when mixed with other oils. Has a soothing jasmine smell which I find very therapeutic for scalp massages. The cost is low compared to Moroccan Oil etc big brands most of which are also not 100% natural & also have silicones in them , anyway. Due to henna & oils like this, I don’t need any costly salon treatments to keep my hair in a good condition &also cut the ends at home ,saving lots of £.
