The jury is not quite in on this. It looks exactly how t is shown , you can wear it any way you want. I think I don’t like the navy. It’s deep dark navy but the color is not working for me. Challenging to button, slits are tight. There are quite a bit of buttons So, with this review I am returning it

I’m 5 feet and this comes to my ankles. Homicides 14 and XL fits nicely. It
has pocket it’s A line cut. I love it The material is a little thinnerthan I expected,but it’s still a great dress!, at a great price. I would buy it again in different colors.

The dress is nice. It is comfortable and is light and cool. Good for hot days. I, however, gave it 3 stars as the length does not match what is said on the size chart. I ordered the XXL, which is a few sizes up to get the stated length of 55½ inches. When I tried it I noticed it was shorter than I expected so I measured it with a tape and the length was actually 50 inches.
Edited here: Even though the dress/jacket was shorter than expected I have found ways to incorporate it into my wardrobe. I really like it. So I changed my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars.

I have been in the hunt for maxi shirt dresses and this is great. The dress is exactly on my frame as shown on the model. I ordered a size medium and this was a great size and not too roomy. Has pockets which is great, and this color is a soft chartreuse. I am 5 ft 2 (around 155 pounds typical size 10/12) and this is a maxi dress on me and hits at my ankles but I can still wear a flat sandal and the dress not graze the floor for reference. I love this so much I bought it in white also. I had to pry open the button holes (I used a capped off pen) to get them going but no issues after that. Has pockets which is a huge bonus for me.

I’m 5’7″, 140 lbs., and a 38C. I got a size Large and I got it in black. The dress is about an inch above my ankles, which is perfect for me. There’s no side slit, so I’ll leave some buttons undone so I can stride. The dress fits loosely, but looks really well with a belt – not bunched. The buttons are small and a bit difficult, so I expect I’ll leave most of them buttoned and pull it on over my head. The sleeves are loose enough to be rolled up or left down. I haven’t worn it yet – heading for the laundry first, of course – but I think it’ll be good for travelling, since it can be dressed up or down.
Shell –
The dress fit is it to size if you were a small you will need an extra small dress. Also try it on as soon as you get it. I did not and the return window closed. Now I am stuck with a dress I can’t wear.
