I needed something wide enough at the base to catch the rather wide ring of flame on my stove and finally I found this (it’s almost 4.5″ but because it curves outward & upward a bit, it works). It is one of the few with no rivets inside, which means it’s a smooth surface that does not catch bacteria around rivets & is easy to clean (& kosher). It’s charming looking & has a handy & cute lid and a handle that won’t get hot. I also like that it’s stainless steel. It remains to be seen how well the handle is mounted on the outside of the pot and how long that mounting will hold… (The sturdiest handle would be achieved by making the pot and handle out of one piece.) For this reason, I have not (yet) given this 5 stars for sturdiness.

Makes very good Greek coffee. I used the briki on the stove, the handle never got hot which is great. The design makes it easy to clean. Would recommend it to others.

I do not use it to make turkish coffee. Its a handy little pot to heat milk or butter. The only drawback is that, it is hard to clean the inside.

I am rarely impressed with an item right out of the box, but I was with this one. I had expected a nice little pot that was good, but not particularly sturdy – but it’s much sturdier than I had expected. Holds just the right amount of water, and the handle stays cool.
