The first thing I noticed was that Botanic Hearth Moroccan Argan Oil didn’t have a scent. All the products I’ve purchased with Argan oil have a particular smell. I immediately looked at the ingredient list and the first ingredient listed was Grape Seed Oil. The second was Argan Oil then Vitamin E and Sesame Oil. All of these are fine ingredients, but it seems deceptive to advertise it as Moroccan Argan Oil when the main ingredient is Grape Seed Oil. It is true that the combination of these oils is not greasy or sticky. They do leave my skin shiny though.

I expected this to be 100% argan oil but there are several other ingredients in it, other oils. It’s a nice blend, seems very healthy on skin and scalp. The smell is very pleasant too.

The Argan oil bottle looks very nice. I used the oil twice at night on my face and hands, and I loved its soft feeling. Once applied, my skin absorbed it quickly, which gave more moisture to my face. I checked the ingredients, and this oil has a mixture of other oils and vitamins: Grape Seed Oil, then Argan oil, then Vitamin E, then Sesame oil. They are all good for the skin and the mixture has a lovely smell. I wished it had only Argan oil, but it is still ok.

Honestly didn’t look at everything to see that it was a mixture of oils. I opened it and from buying argon oil before, it has a specific scent. This just smelled like grape seed oil to me. Now the mixture of oils are all good, but I wanted just Argan oil. It makes sense why the cost was so low 😫

When I ordered this item, I didn’t realize that Argan oil was mixed here with other oils – see the Ingredients: Grape Seed oil comes first, then Argan oil, then Vitamin E, then Sesame oil. Usually, the first ingredient on the list carries the most amount. So here, this is Grape Seed oil. Of course – Grape Seed oil, Vit. E and Sesame oil – are all excellent for scalp and hair as well, and I am using it with confidence. It’s just the most prominent on the label is “Moroccan Argan Oil”, and then, in small letters “with 100% natural oils”. Just FYI. And then I looked at the price and realized that pure Argan Oil (by itself) would have been more expensive. That said – it’s still a good product.
