It was hard to get past the taste the few times I tried it. I haven’t been sick but I intend to really give this a good test if/when I feel something coming on. I’ll be certain to come back to revisit my opinion. I’ve read so many good things about black seed oil that I feel it’s a good product to keep around. I do wish I’d gotten capsules tho!

Mild flavor. Dark plastic bottle. <1% thymoquinone (less than others).

I am well used to consuming black seed oil. I have been taking it on and off for a decade easily. I tend to use it as needed if I am feeling run down, or have been around sick people, or have a little something starting. It can be used for so much internally and externally. I really should make it more of a habit to use as it is an amazing supplement. Can be tough though, because black seed oil is rough tasting. That being said, this is much more gentle in taste in comparison to every single other bottle I have had in my life. I’m not sure why. However, I see that it lists “minimum 0.95% thymoquinone” and most of what I buy has minimum 2%. All of the taste comes from the thymoquinone (imagine super concentrated thyme flavor), so that may be why. Color is different than what I am used to. This is like a watered down coffee color (dark brown), where as all the others I have sued is more like a tea color (amber with green tinge). I dug around to see if that mean anything, but so far I have only read that it is simply variations in seeds.

IF YOU ARE NEW to black seed oil, then you are in for a surprise. While this is fairly mild, it still may be off putting. Black seed oil is not for the faint of heart, haha. To say that it has a robust taste, is to put it mildly. Imagine a very concentrated thyme flavor, and that is what it is. Very strong, kind of brutal. Get past it because it is so good for you. This is any brand (except this, this is mild. I have tried a dozen brands in my life). So if you choose this, it is mild but if you decide to keep shopping and choose another with higher content, then just expect it to be intense.

To make it easy: Do NOT take directly from a spoon. Since it is oily, my preferred method is to take a small glass of water, add some of this to it (just sits on top suspended), and just chug. Dont mix, just drink. Then down it with a little extra water. All good. Taste goes away. Hint of thyme remains is all. Dont need much. No thyme burps with this (so far), but other brands (higher amount) may be noticed well after consumption. I prefer to take it on full stomach.

I highly recommend black seed oil in general, any brand. I prefer glass bottles, but have purchased it in plastic (like this) and it has been fine. I try to remember to take it a few days a week for overall health, but when I am sick with ANYTHING, I alwaaaaaays grab for blackseed oil. ALWAYS. It’s magical. They say that blackseed oil is..

“The cure for everything except death”.

    I believe it.

I am giving this 4 stars. I would rather see a higher amount as that is what I am used to. I do however like the more mild taste, so it might be easier for me to remember to take it. But

    my next purchase

     will likely be a

glass bottle with higher thymoquinone content

((links to two of my preferred black seed oil brands))

This is good black seed oil supplement.
I mix a spoonful with my smoothies and seems to mix well.
    So far so good.

Black seed oil always tastes terrible. It does come in pill form as well. However, it’s good for your heart! I found this to be a good supplement for black seed oil which I’ve been taking for a few years now.

This by far is the worst tasting black seed oil I have ever purchased, its very thick and dark and taste like the plastic bottle as well. I have been purchasing and using black seed oil for years. Price was right however not worth it if you are going to toss it, stick with any other brand but this one for sure, yucky.

I found another brand with much higher amount of thymoquinine, which is the whole reason to take black seed oil in the first place.

I’m not sure how well this product works but I am not a big fan of the flavor. Therefore it is not very easy to take down and swallow. I think this product would work better with a change of flavor.
