I ordered this 5’x7′ photographic elegant backdrop as an Arabian Nights party decoration. The backdrop is printed on one side (reverse side white) of lightweight polyester fabric; the printing has good resolution and good contrast with saturated colors. The polyester fabric appears fused and the edges are bound with thread to prevent raveling. The lightweight fabric can be clipped to a photographic stand’s horizontal support; I would reinforce the backdrop reverse with cloth tape before tacking the backdrop to a wall. The fabric is not quite opaque; a sunlit window would show through if the backdrop covers a window.
The backdrop arrives wrinkled, folded in a zip lock plastic bag. I laid the backdrop reverse side up on my bedspread and ironed the backdrop reverse using a dry iron set to “delicate” (the lowest heat setting) to remove the wrinkles. The backdrop can be stored rolled around a (not included) mailing tube to avoid wrinkling or can be stored in the supplied plastic zip lock bag.
