This oil makes your skin feel like silk. It has an earthy smell. I like it. Once you apply it your skin will feel unbelievably soft and look hydrated. I use this over my own diy vitamin c serum. Just allow anything else to sink in then apply this. I would love to buy big bottles of this for the whole body. Overall i reccomend this oil! You might get a little impatient as the delivery takes quite a while. I suggest aura cacia have products available in the uk as their products are wonderful.

Its nice oil and really great for ur skin! What i will say is it smells a bit and i think this has to do with it being exposed to sunlight or heat or maybe its a little out of date! i ruined mine by trying to add some geranium oil to combat the smell! Needless to say the smell was still there but just mixed with a heavy flower sent and that made me feel sick! kinda looks greasy on ur face so prob better for night time and not the best under makeup!. i dont really like having an oily face day or night lol

I have bought this product 3 times already. I’m very happy with the product because it had prevented my stretch mark during pregnancy along with other oil. First time I bought it was in the glass bottle and the packaging was perfect. They changed the bottle to plastic now, the 2nd time I ordered a quarter of the product was spilled but I let it go as I thought it was just coincidence. I received the product today for the 3rd time and the same thing happened. Would give 5 starts again because the product is great. But I’m not happy with the packaging.

This product is great in terms of hydrating the skin, I normally use it every other day along with moisturiser. However, I wouldn’t describe it as ‘restoring’ as I haven’t noticed anything different to my skin since using it but in general it works well.

I have a child with eczema, plus the rest of our family experiences dry skin during New England’s harsh winters.

Argan Oil may or may not work for you… but this is a very convenient size for trying a new skin product! I particularly like this brand for the easy to use pump applicators on top. We’ve used both this Argan Oil and the same line’s

Aura Cacia Organic Skin Care Oil, Baobab, 1-Fluid Ounce

, as well as many other brands of oil available at Whole Foods and on Amazon, and this applicator is the very best. I can easily dispense a small amount to smooth over my own oily facial skin, or add several pumps to a handful of mixed oils to moisturize my little guy with the skin condition after his bath.

    (

Home Health – Castor Oil Cold Pressed & Cold Processed 8 fl. oz.

really suffers by comparison when it comes to ease of use!)

As I mentioned, my skin has always been oily and breakout prone, but also very sensitive to chemicals. With age and winter starting to leave me dried out for part of the year, I was really at a loss when every moisturizing cream I tried led to breakouts. I’ve been using some skin oils, beginning with

DHC Olive Virgin Oil 1 fl. oz.

because I had it, then on to jojoba oil and now Argan, and I’ve been much more successful than when using prepared products with too many ingredients for my temperamental face. I wish I could say we’d cured winter skin, but we haven’t. It just feels better with application of some (tiny bit of) oil over freshly washed skin. Argan Oil does feel just amazing going on. I think it has the least greasy residue of any oil I’ve tried yet (Olive, Jojoba, Baobab, Avocado, Sesame and Castor.)

Along the same lines, my sensitive little guy still has eczema, but he hasn’t reacted badly to this Argan Oil, though I think the Baobab Oil is working out best for him.

Whole Foods has this line of oils on sale this week (month?) for about what I paid here on Amazon, but the regular price is about 50% higher, so you may want to shop around before you buy.

If you are looking for a pretty smell because it comes from a flower, you will be disappointed. It is a seed oil – it smells like oil. This product is also blended with vitamin E – which happens to be an oil that I really hate the smell of. However, I was looking for the organic seed oils because I wanted to avoid unnecessary chemicals and a natural way to moisturize my very dry skin. I have an autoimmune condition that contributes to my dry skin and eyes. Left un-moisturized my hands can get small splits in the winter that will bleed, so really, really dry skin. I consider some treatments to be worth a blah smell, I think of it like medicine for your skin. This product does not smell ‘bad,’ and if you like the smell of vitamin E you will be in your glory.

I purchased this item after doing some research on seed oils. I already was using evening primrose oil and I wanted to add this to my skin care routine. I started by alternating am/pm with the products, then just decided to use both together. I tend to use one pump of this product mixed with a few drops of evening primrose oil. It works well. I apply the blend immediately after a shower. By the time I have gotten partially dressed and into a robe, my skin is ready for makeup. No oil residue, just a soft freshly moisturized feel.

Like most products, it states to avoid the eye area. I choose to use it everywhere on my face as well as in the eye area. I actually rub it in, including the lash line. I have very dry eyes and I can really rub this product in and have no irritation. In fact, it feels great!

One ‘drawback,’ if you can really consider it one: If you are not going to use it quickly, you need to keep in in the refrigerator. Oils that are pure and organic, without preservatives, will go rancid. When I did keep mine in the refrigerator, I would forget about it. Unfortunately, I really need to put moisturizer on the minute I get out of the shower while I am in a steamy room, so if I didn’t remember to bring it in the bathroom before my shower, then I can’t use it. I have decided to throw caution to the wind and keep it in the bathroom and just check to make sure that it does not get a rancid smell.

I would definitely buy this again. In fact, I would purchase a larger container to keep in the fridge and just keep refilling this container to the 1/2 way point to overcome the rancid potential vs. the keep in the bathroom to make it usable.

I bought the Rosehip oil in hopes that it would help my partially oily, partially dry skin even out and appear less “irritated” during the winter months. I’d read numerous reviews that this product freshened and renewed skin without leaving it greasy or causing any other side effects. Unfortunately, it did not work out as well as I’d hoped. The first time I used it, my face looked very greasy, so I thought maybe I’d applied too much. I rubbed most of it off, but my skin remained oily for the duration of the day. That night I used it after a shower, and I applied less (only a small dab on a cotton ball). My skin did look “glowing”, but within five minutes of lying down to sleep, I felt my cheeks burning. It really stung when touched, but in my sleepy-induced haze, I ignored it. The next morning, I had red patches on my cheeks/face and painful little bumps. It still hurts to touch, and upon researching I’ve discovered Rosehip oil can actually cause an allergic reaction in some folks.

I only deducted one star, because it did make my skin look very healthy for a bit when I used the correct amount, and it’s not the product/company’s fault that I had a reaction. If you have sensitive skin and break out easily, I’d caution use and maybe do a small test on your wrist before applying to your face. I was just so giddy to see some results that I didn’t even think to do a test run first.

I’m now applying Tea Tree oil to the “rash” and it already is feeling better. Oh well, my hunt for a natural product that reduces redness and combination skin continues!

    Pros-
Made skin look soft and healthy
Smell (I really didn’t find it bad at all, in fact I kind of liked it!)
    Easy to apply
    Inexpensive

    Cons-
Made oily/dry combo skin look worse/greasy all day
    Caused a reaction/rash
