Ordered the bottle with the white cap in the Amazon listing. Side of that bottle states in the bullet points that it is 3rd Party Tested and also states Hexane and Solvent Free. Item received is a bottle with a black lid and both of these selling points are nowhere on the packaging. As there are no returns for this item, I contacted the seller, who then sent me a link to their website and said they “updated” the packaging. Down at the bottom of their website, it mentions 3rd party testing and chemical free. The fact that they removed this important information from their packaging and called it an update boggles me. I don’t trust the item I received as it’s not the item advertised on the Amazon listing. I am out money and won’t be using their product.

This product arrived promptly and on the promised delivery date. I would purchase from this seller again. The oil in this Amazing Herbs Black seed product is unrefined and cold pressed which many sources will tell you produces the best product. Amazing Herbs sells both the oil and the softgel capsules.
Black seed (nigella sativa), or black cumin seed as it is sometimes called, was claimed to be the “cure for all diseases except death” by the Prophet Mohammed and is sometimes called the “blessed seed”. Studies have shown it to be effective for all sorts of illnesses: cancer, allergies, memory problems, immune system disorders, and epilepsy that is not controlled by conventional drugs just to name a few. The latter is what we have been using it for and it seems to have lessened the number of seizures already. Black seed oil is good for pets as well as humans, although literature warns it should not be taken during pregnancy.
Black seed oil is high in EFA’s and has many qualities yet undiscovered by modern science. In the book, Black Seed: Nature’s Miracle Remedy by W. G. Goreja, black seed’s “mechanisms of action” are listed as: Analgesic: relieves or dampens sensation of pain. Anthelmintic: destroys and expels intestinal worms. Anti-Bacterial: destroys or inhibits the growth of destructive bacteria. Anti-Inflammatory: reduces inflammation. Anti-Microbial: destroys or inhibits the growth of destructive microorganisms. Antioxidant: prevents or delays the damaging oxidation of the body’s cells-particularly useful against agents known as free radicals. Anti-Pyretic: exhibits a “cooling” action useful in fever reduction. Anti-Spasmodic: prevents or eases muscle spasms and cramps. Anti-Tumor: counteracts or prevents the formation of malignant tumors. Carminative: stimulates digestion and induces the expulsion of gas from the stomach and intestines. Diaphoretic: induces perspiration to cool fever and stimulate the release of toxins from the body. I have been buying this product for quite a while. So many great benefits and this is an awwsome brand! I’ve purchased the liquid and I don’t mind the taste at all (it’s VERY earthy), it is just so much more convenient for me to have capsules and take it when I take my other vitamins. I also make cosmetic products and cold process soap and buy black seed oil for certain products I make. Outstanding skin benefits. I know you really can’t make claims on natural supplements but I will just say this. Years ago I took heartburn medicine daily. The purple pill and chewables and I thought , “There has to be a better solution” So after researching for a LONG time, I started taking 3 things; A digestive enzyme supplement, Mastic Gum and this product. I took this regimine for 60 days (twice a day) and after I was finished with that first round, I stopped and only took the digestive enzyme once a day before eating. That was in 2013 and I have not taken any heartburn medicine since then. A miracle? I don’t know about that but it worked. Now occasionally I still feel like I’m getting a little heartburn but I can take one of each from the original regimen and it goes away. I always have this product at home.

I’ve done a lot of research before and since buying Black Seed Oil and as the Islamic prophet Mohammed said: it’s the remedy for all diseases except for death”! There are literally over 100 different ailments that Blackseed oil can treat, cure, or help in some way. Black seed oil was even found in King Tut’s tomb–it’s an ancient healing remedy!
I’ve been taking it now for 2.5 months. I personally take it to maintain healthfulness and to combat any infection or anything unknown that may be going on in my body. Since I don’t have any specific ailments for it to resolve, I don’t have a eureka moment to discuss but I can say that just taking these Black Seed Oil capsules have given me great peace of mind. It’s my opinion that everyone should take a daily dose of Black Seed Oil–especially considering all of the benefits there are to taking them; there’s so much to gain and nothing to lose. The pharmaceutical companies are making a killing on expensive treatments and cures that Black Seed Oil has the ability to cure–and for a tiny fraction of the price!
These Black Seed oil capsules offer a great, easy way to get your daily fix and it’s my preferred way of taking it (I can’t imagine taking the oil straight). I would recommend also purchasing the actual oil drops bc there’s some cures that you’ll still need the actual oil for: like nasal congestion or adding drops to your dog’s food. At first, I tried just cutting open the capsules to put some in my dogs’ food but it was too messy and difficult of a process so I just ended up buying the drops too, and I’m happy I did.
The only unpleasant, but bearable, side-effect of these capsules is the horrible smell (just don’t sniff inside the bottle! 😝). Also, I occasionally burp up the taste. It’s small price to pay for all of the great benefits you stand to gain from taking Black seed oil!
